@Sunset_Speedway • Innisfil, ON (July 7, 2015)- On Saturday night, Jade Franklin wouldn't have the night that he was hoping for in the St. Onge Recreation Super Stock feature, crossing the finish line in the 18th spot.
The night didn't start out how Franklin wanted, either, as a mechanical issue resulted in him missing his heat. He was able to get it fixed for the consolation race, finishing fifth to qualify for the 30-lap feature.
The feature invert would see Franklin start the 30-lap feature from the 21st position. He was able to move up a pair of spots before the first caution flew at lap five for a spin by Chris Howse. He would move up one more spot to 18th by the halfway point of the feature, continuing to avoid the incidents that took place.
Franklin continued to run strongly, moving all the way up to the 15th spot by lap 18. However, in the final 12 laps of the feature, he would fall back three spots, crossing the finish line in the 18th.

Franklin will return to Sunset Speedway in two weeks for a double-header points event. Saturday, July 18 will feature regular points racing, well Sunday, July 19 will be used to make up the rained out points event from May 30.
