@Sunset_Speedway • INNISFIL, Ontario (July 22, 2015)- A.J. Emms would battle hard on Sunday afternoon at Sunset Speedway, posting a 20th place finish in the first feature, before mechanical breakage took him out of the second feature.
Emms would post a 15.182 in time trials to start off the night, setting him up to start in the back half of the field for the feature. By the time the first caution flew at lap three, he would be up to the 15th spot. He would pick up another two spots before the caution flew once again at lap eight. He would continue to run 15th throughout the middle portion of the feature, before beginning to fall back a couple spots during the second half. He would fall back to 17th by lap 20, before falling back three more spots to cross the finish line in 20th.
He would then start 20th in the second feature, and began his charge up through the field, running 18th as of the caution at lap 10. However after the restart, things would fall apart as something would break in the front end, forcing Emms down pit road and done for the night.
