@Sunset_Speedway • INNISFIL, ON (July 28, 2015)- After running inside of the top-10 throughout the entire 30-lap feature, Jade Franklin would get caught up in a wreck on a restart with two laps to go.
He started off the night on a solid note, finishing second in his heat and fifth in the Dash for Cash. As a result of invert, Franklin would start the feature from the sixth spot.
He would start off strong, keeping his nose clean and staying in the top-10, running seventh in the early laps. He would then pass Kent Constable to move back into sixth before the caution flew for a fellow competitor having problems on lap 15.
He would continue to run in the sixth spot throughout the second half of the race till a caution came out with two laps to go. On the restart, a pair of cars ahead of him would make contact, leaving nowhere for him to go. He would then make contact, ripping the left side and hood of the car. As a result, he would have to make a trip down pit road for repairs.
He would return to the track, finishing the race in the 20th spot.
