10th in Dickies OSCAAR Outlaws Presented by LRR Points – Gary Passer

@OSCAARRacing • A veteran of the OSCAAR tour, it was another solid season for Gary Passer en route to finishing 10th in Dickies OSCAAR Outlaws Presented by London Recreational Racing points.

When the season started, it looked like it'd be a real strong year for the Innisfil, Ontario driver as he finished the season opener at Sunset Speedway with a seventh place finish. He was then solid in his return to Sunset the next month with an 11th place finish.

Though with any season, things can't go perfectly smooth as there will be hurtles to climb along the way. That'd come true as issues at Delaware Speedway in the early laps would see Passer post a DNF and finish 15th.

The driver of the No. 13 Jenco Equipment Incorporated, Custom Engine and Bayside Automotive Ltd. SLM would miss the next event at Peterborough, but returned back to the schedule at Sunset Speedway. Unfortunately, the bad luck would continue as he would get caught up in a crash in practice, causing heavy damage to his ride. Still, the veteran persevered and with the hard work of the team, he was able to run the event that night with a 14th place finish.

With back-to-back bad races, the Passer team was certainly looking for a way to turn things around. Peterborough Speedway at the beginning of September would be the perfect answer to the problem. Passer would have a great run, posting his best career finish of the season with a sixth.

Passer would then close out the 2015 campaign with a pair of finishes just outside of the top-10.

While he didn't perhaps have the season that he envisioned, it was still filled with some highlights, and in the end, perseverance led to a solid points finish.
