@Sunset_Speedway • INNISFIL, ON (June 17, 2015) --- On Saturday night at Sunset Speedway, Eric Yorke ran upfront all feature race long en route to scoring a fifth place finish.
Yorke started off the night by finishing fifth in his heat. With the feature invert in place, Yorke was set to start 14th for the 25-lap feature event.
He would avoid an incident early between a pair of drivers to move up two spots to 12th. As the race got into a green-flag feel, Yorke used the long run to start making his way to the front. He would move up to the sixth spot by lap 11, before passing Ben Melenhorst on lap 19 to move into fifth.
Yorke would run solidly in the top-five for the final 11 laps, finishing fifth for his first top-five finish of 2015.
Special thanks to Can-Alignment Motorsports, Milton Napa Auto Parts, J&D Tire, Solex Steel, McKeown Collision, Partimer Signs, Ancaster Embroidery, Country Girl Designs and Skytec Rentals for their support.
