Home Field Advantage For TCM in the Delaware Speedway Sifton 100

@UnitedLMSeries • @delawareracing • @TCollver1 • (London ON) For APC United Late Model Series driver Trevor Collver, any advantage he can get while competing in the most competitive stock car tour in recent memory, will be taken. The third installment of the tour is the Sifton 100 at Delaware Speedway this coming Friday night.

Collver, competes full time at Delaware Speedway in their Super Stock division, while full time in the Pro Late Model on the province wide tour.  The trend in the opening two events has been race winners being experienced and regular competitors from the host speedway. Dwayne Baker, a fixture at Sunset Speedway and Dale Shaw, who competes at Flamboro Speedway have been the winners of the opening two rounds on the APC Series tour.  The trend may favour a home track competitor for the third event this season.

The competition in the APC Late Model division is already at a high level with series regulars like Dale Shaw, Dwayne Baker, Brandon Watson, Andrew Gresel,  Nick Goetz and Shawn Chenoweth.  Add competitive drivers that represent Delaware Speedway: point leader Jamie Cox, Matt Pritiko, Mark Watson, and Jay Doerr.

If that weren't enough, add some part time teams that plan on invading the tour regulars such as Jesse Kennedy, Cole Powell, and Shawn Thompson.   All of these teams will be vying for only 32 positions in the race this coming Friday night.  The grim reality is, with nearly 40 cars intending to compete, a few teams will go home disappointed by not qualifying for the main event.

This competitive field will likely produce a lot of surprises in the Sifton Properties 100.  The mere size of the speedway is the largest on the tour and can produce break neck speeds and close racing among the teams. Collver is looking to having some small advantage over some of the other competitors who have not yet competed in a Pro Late Model at the London area facility.

Preparation for this event will be tough as there is less than a week turnaround time between the third event and fourth event at Flamboro Speedway five days after.

Please support local racing and the partnerships that keep the teams competing.  Gold Racing & Trevor Collver Motorsports would like to thank their marketing partners Border Town Classics, Carter Trucking, Inventory Express Automotive Lubricants, Shellbourne Fuels, Champion Spark Plugs, Outback Tire shack, Mark Kennedy Trucking, D-K Equipment, Hodgins Custom Service, Wilds Printing & Graphics, G&L Automotive, Melrose Garage, Dave Collver Auto Care, Don Collver Automotive and Transmission , Collver Towing, Fix Auto Northwest, Customclothing4U.com, Nationwide Oil Spray  & Hallmark Memorials.
