Rick Walt Looking to Rebound This Weekend at Sunset Speedway

@Sunset_Speedway • INNISFIL, Ontario --- Following a pair of DNFs on the last night of competition, Rick Walt is hoping to rebound on Sunday afternoon at Sunset Speedway.

On July 4, Walt would fail to finish either of the two features, battling handling and mechanical issues with his late model. The Walt Motorsports team immediately went to work in search of the problem after the weekend was complete, discovering an issue in the front end. Last weekend, Walt took to Peterborough Speedway, leading the feature till the late stages when a flat tire took him out of contention.

With the problem fixed, Walt will return to Sunset Speedway on Sunday afternoon, looking to return back to top-five contention. Prior to the issues on July 4, Walt posted a pair of top-fives on June 13 to go with a runner-up finish on May 9.

Be sure to come on out to Sunset Speedway this weekend on Sunday, July 19 for a rare afternoon of competition. Details can be found via http://www.sunsetspeedway.ca.
