@Sunset_Speedway • INNISFIL, Ontario (August 12, 2015)- Following an on-track incident in the feature, Eric Yorke would post a DNF on Saturday night at Sunset Speedway.
Yorke started off the night on a high note, winning his qualifying heat before finishing sixth in the fast qualifier's dash.
Come feature time, he would start from the sixth position, but was able to get to fourth in the early laps with ease. He would then catch Miles Tyson for the third spot, getting alongside him at lap six. The pair would battle back and forth throughout the middle portion of the race.
On lap 10, as they went through turn three and four, Yorke would get loose, washing up into Tyson. The contact would cause both drivers to get up into the wall, causing damage to both machines and drawing the caution. As a result, Yorke would be done for the night.
