Ranger & Team Mopar Gearing Up For Riverside‏

@andrew_ranger • @Riverside_NS • @NASCARHomeTrack • @WoundWarriorCA • (August 12, 2015)- With the overall points lead in his sights, Andrew Ranger and the #27 Mopar Parts Dodge team head to Riverside International Speedway in Antigonish, Nova Scotia for round number nine of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series this Saturday.  Ranger looks to continue his charge upward in the standings at the high-banked 1/3-mile speedway where he was a winner previously.

Ranger scored his fourth podium finish of the season in the most recent race at the Grand Prix of Trois Rivieres.  That followed a victory at the Autodrome St. Eustache and has the driver of the #27 Mopar Parts Dodge anxious to get back behind the wheel.

"I'm anxious to get back in action and focus on the championship," said Ranger.  "We are second in points and the Mopar Motorsports team has been working really hard to get to the top."

The recent results by Ranger and the #27 Mopar Parts team has the team both confidant and excited about the final three races of the season beginning this weekend at Riverside.

"It's a really great track," said Ranger.  "With our big motor we want to work be able to run the outside, it's similar to Saskatoon and we ran well there so we're looking to do the same thing."

With the 2015 season in the home stretch Ranger and the #27 Mopar Parts Dodge team are laser focused on the championship.

"If I've got a car that can run P1 this weekend I want to go for it but I have to be smart too.  There is one more road course coming up and we know that we have a good chance to make some gains there but we have to be smart at the other tracks too" said Ranger.

Andrew Ranger and the #27 Mopar Parts Dodge team will be on track for afternoon practice and qualifying this Saturday August 15th at Riverside International Speedway near Antigonish, NS.  The 300-lap race goes green at 8PM local time.

Broadcast Info:  Fans can tune in to see all the action from the Grand Prix of Trois-Rivieres on TSN Saturday August 15th at 1:30PM ET.
